Description

  • Define and evolve observability practices across metrics, logs, traces, events, and user experience.
  • Instrument business events in Dynatrace and create custom metrics that correlate technical behavior with conversion and business impact.
  • Build executive and technical dashboards that connect infrastructure SLIs/SLOs with product indicators.
  • Promote SRE and DevOps practices, including reliability culture, root cause analysis, and monitoring platform governance.
  • Partner with product teams to map critical journeys and translate them into observable signals.
  • Translate business processes into observable events and KPI-oriented views.
  • Support incident analysis and operational problem solving through data correlation.
  • Help mature observability practices in cloud and platform environments.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace, especially Business Events and customizations.
  • Advanced experience with other observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
  • Practical experience with SRE and DevOps practices in AWS environments.
  • Experience with containers and orchestration, especially Kubernetes and Rancher.
  • Familiarity with operational metrics such as MTTR, MTTD, and MTBF, and ITSM processes including incidents, problems, and changes.
  • Strong analytical ability to correlate technical data with business outcomes.
  • Previous experience in the financial, banking, or insurance sectors is a plus.
  • Prior work on automation applied to observability is a plus.
  • Experience in large digital transformation or operational maturity initiatives is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
