Description

  • Lead the design process from initial discovery and wireframing through high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff.
  • Apply a deep understanding of iOS design patterns, gestures, and system behaviors to create intuitive mobile experiences.
  • Maintain high visual craft across typography, iconography, and motion design for iPhone and iPad.
  • Partner closely with iOS engineers to align on technical constraints and preserve design intent in production.
  • Contribute to and evolve the mobile design library to keep feature experiences consistent.
  • Translate complex user needs into elegant, high-fidelity interfaces that leverage SwiftUI and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Consider edge cases, offline states, and accessibility requirements such as VoiceOver and Dynamic Type.
  • Communicate and present design decisions clearly to stakeholders and engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product/UX design.
  • A portfolio showcasing at least 2-3 major iOS apps currently in the App Store.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including variables and advanced prototyping.
  • A working knowledge of Xcode or SwiftUI is a significant plus.
  • Strong understanding of iOS design patterns, gestures, and system behaviors.
  • Ability to design for scale, including edge cases, offline states, and accessibility.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills to justify design decisions and translate vision to engineers.
  • Experience designing for iPadOS, watchOS, or visionOS is a bonus.
  • A background in building consumer-facing apps is a bonus.
