Description

  • Translate complex financial and process concepts into clear, motivating copy across email, text, and in-product experiences.
  • Use homeowner research, call recordings, and funnel data to inform content decisions.
  • Apply and help maintain Point's writing guidelines and messaging framework across customer touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with product designers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and sales to shape content.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and operations to review, approve, and ship copy.
  • Draft scripts and copy for AI-driven experiences such as chat, voice, and the knowledge base.
  • Monitor copy performance using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and iterate based on results.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional writing experience in content design, product design, UX writing, or a closely related field.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong writing across multiple formats, such as product copy, emails, long-form content, or marketing copy.
  • Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work for drafting, editing, researching, and exploring ideas.
  • Comfort working with subject matter experts and incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to grammar, tone, and consistency.
  • Curiosity about the customer and a desire to understand who you are writing for.
  • Open to feedback and able to iterate quickly.
  • Experience writing for fintech, financial services, or other regulated or complex industries is preferred.
  • Experience writing prompts, knowledge bases, or guardrails for production AI experiences.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing copy such as subject lines, headlines, and button text.
  • Experience drafting test plans, surveys, or light user research on copy.
  • Must reside in one of Point's states of operation: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NH, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
