Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, or VIPER.
  • Write clean Swift code to build complex features and polished user interfaces with UIKit or SwiftUI.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and UI issues to improve app responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs and with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Drive code reviews, maintain high unit test coverage, and mentor mid-level and junior developers.
  • Oversee the end-to-end app submission process, including certificates, provisioning profiles, and App Store Connect releases.

Requirements

  • Experience in iOS development with a deep understanding of the iOS SDK and Apple’s design principles.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Swift and familiarity with asynchronous programming using Combine or Swift Concurrency/async-await.
  • Extensive experience with local storage technologies such as Core Data or Realm.
  • Experience integrating complex APIs using URLSession or Alamofire.
  • Strong commitment to quality through unit testing with XCTest and UI testing.
  • Expert knowledge of Git, CocoaPods or Swift Package Manager, and project management tools like JIRA.
  • Advanced English proficiency, including fluent verbal and written communication.
  • Familiarity with legacy Objective-C codebases is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile such as Fastlane, Bitrise, or Xcode Cloud is a plus.
  • Practical experience transitioning from UIKit to SwiftUI in production is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RxSwift or other reactive frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with a user-centric product mindset is a plus.
