Description

  • Design, write, and maintain code for sophisticated iOS mobile applications.
  • Work with a diverse, geographically distributed team.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, fix bugs, and write tests to improve stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and the team to build new features that drive user engagement and application growth.
  • Craft experiments to better understand user interactions and inform product improvements.
  • Contribute transparently to Mozilla’s open-source project and global community.

Requirements

  • Experience building and shipping native iOS/iPadOS applications using Swift.
  • Strong interest in modern iOS development practices, including SwiftUI and architectural patterns like MVVM.
  • Proficiency in code reviews, unit testing, and automation for maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Ability to work effectively in a distributed team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Passion for identifying and resolving bugs.
  • Comfort working transparently in an open-source environment.
  • Reading and understanding JavaScript and/or Rust is a bonus.
  • Willingness to ask questions and propose new ideas that can make a positive impact.
