Description

  • Create and review test scenarios using systematic techniques to ensure efficient coverage.
  • Execute and guide teams in manual functional testing and exploratory testing.
  • Plan and execute integrated functional tests using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Perform risk analysis to prioritize testing efforts in high-probability, high-impact scenarios.
  • Define test strategy and distribute testing across levels according to the chosen approach.
  • Collect and analyze user, business, and incident metrics to support test planning and decision-making.
  • Review prototypes, wireframes, user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria, proposing improvements where needed.
  • Promote agile QA practices across teams and apply Chapter Quality processes, standards, and templates.
  • Review unit tests and code reviews from a functional testing perspective, and create test doubles using an established framework.
  • Develop frameworks or scripts for test data creation and support debugging, reporting test status, critical bugs, and blockers to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Completed or in-progress degree, preferably in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
  • Solid experience in software quality and software testing.
  • Experience with manual testing for Mobile and API.
  • Experience developing frameworks or scripts for test data creation using databases such as Mongo, Oracle, and MSSQL, and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and IBM MQ.
  • Familiarity with GitLab and tools for managing test scenarios and defects.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and the QA role in agile teams.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Kibana, OpenSearch, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
  • Knowledge of risk analysis, databases, contract testing, unit and integration test review, and test doubles such as mocks, stubs, fakes, spies, and dummies.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and DevOps culture.
  • Preferred: automated testing experience across multiple platforms, especially Mobile and API.
  • Preferred: experience in financial institutions.
  • Preferred: experience with rule and decision engines.
