Description

  • Develop clean, maintainable code with test coverage using software engineering best practices.
  • Design solutions using appropriate frameworks and architectural approaches.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Perform code reviews as both reviewer and author to ensure feature quality and functionality.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Support a stable and productive development environment.
  • Monitor applications in production using health and performance metrics to detect anomalies and improvement opportunities.
  • Work with the team to improve the end-user experience for the product.
  • Stay open to learning and adopting widely used tools in the technology stack.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including object-oriented and functional programming paradigms.
  • Strong knowledge of Git version control.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with responsive design, including media queries, relative properties, flexbox, and CSS Grid.
  • Strong experience with Node.js and npm.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API design, preferably using Express.
  • Understanding of design patterns, including creational, structural, and behavioral patterns.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices such as DRY, KISS, TDA, SoC, and SOLID.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Strong experience with React, including Context API and Redux for state management.
  • Knowledge and experience with unit testing in JavaScript and Jest.
  • Experience with a CI/CD tool, preferably GitLab CI.
  • Familiarity with linting tools, preferably ESLint.
  • Knowledge of containers such as Docker.
  • Experience with SPAs delivered via server-side rendering.
  • If based in the Campinas metropolitan region, in-office attendance is required according to the current policy.
