Description

  • Work across all stages of the software development lifecycle, from feature conception to production deployment and support.
  • Develop backend services using Java and Kotlin in an object-oriented environment.
  • Apply microservices architecture and maintain services aligned with product needs.
  • Implement software development best practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Work within agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban and follow client-defined policies and processes.
  • Write unit, functional, and performance tests according to team guidelines.
  • Instrument applications to capture performance data, runtime logs, and metrics.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including bugs and incidents.
  • Collaborate closely with the team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Work with SQL databases, HTTP/HTTPS, Git/Git Flow, and cloud-native/event-driven components as part of the solution.

Requirements

  • Experience with Spring Boot and/or Javalin.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, SQS, and SNS.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with data streaming solutions.
  • Experience with event-driven solutions.
  • Knowledge of ApiGee and Node.js for server-side and API management.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Ability to work in a mid-level backend role in Brazil, with onsite attendance required for candidates in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas according to the local attendance policy.
