Description

  • Design and evolve secure, scalable Azure platform architectures aligned with .NET microservices, CQRS, and event-driven patterns.
  • Own key platform design decisions, balancing business needs, non-functional requirements, and long-term strategy.
  • Lead CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps and enforce Infrastructure as Code standards (Bicep/Terraform) to ensure repeatable, secure, auditable deployments.
  • Implement, operate, and optimize Azure services such as Container Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and networking.
  • Own incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for distributed systems and platform outages.
  • Apply security-by-design, governance, identity (Entra ID), access control, and FinOps practices including cost optimization.
  • Implement observability and reliability practices, including Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, SLOs, and alerting.
  • Promote structured knowledge transfer, mentor engineers, act as a technical reference, and collaborate across global teams to enable long-term autonomy.
  • Deliver scalable system enhancements that expand business capabilities, enable future integrations, and support parallel initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Azure cloud architecture and platform engineering.
  • Knowledge equivalent to AZ-104, AZ-400, and AZ-305 certifications.
  • Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Bicep or Terraform.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps and applying DevSecOps practices.
  • Solid understanding of security, identity management (Entra ID), governance, and cost optimization (FinOps).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Application Insights and OpenTelemetry.
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems and the ability to drive technical decisions with an ownership mindset.
  • Preferred: knowledge of non-functional requirements (performance, security, GDPR), Azure data platforms (SQL, Data Factory), scripting (Python or similar), exposure to AIOps/AI-driven DevOps, and event-driven architectures.
