Description

  • Lead the design and planning of cloud-native systems that meet business, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Drive architecture decisions and establish reusable patterns and best practices for the engineering team.
  • Develop and evolve cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on AWS and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where they improve the platform.
  • Identify and implement AI and AIOps use cases for monitoring, anomaly detection, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
  • Tune cloud environments to improve performance, reliability, and measurable service quality.
  • Define, track, and improve platform SLIs and SLOs.
  • Develop, document, and maintain monitoring, support, and recovery processes for cloud systems.
  • Contribute to incident response and drive improvements through blameless post-mortems.
  • Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and share knowledge through documentation and internal presentations.

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on Kubernetes administration experience at scale, including ArgoCD, Helm, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code frameworks, including reusable patterns and modules.
  • Advanced understanding of modern SaaS platforms and experience architecting and supporting complex distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise with AWS, including networking, compute, storage, and security.
  • Experience with AIOps practices and tooling such as ML-driven observability, intelligent alerting, automated remediation, or predictive scaling.
  • Experience evaluating, customizing, integrating, and securing cloud platforms to improve efficiency and developer experience.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, DevOps practices, Internal Developer Platforms, and security/IAM principles.
  • Solution Architect Professional and/or Kubernetes certifications such as CKA or CKAD are highly desirable.
  • AWS certifications are a strong plus.
  • Track record of mentoring peers and contributing to engineering excellence.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
