Description

  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from conceiving features to testing, deploying to production, sustaining and continuously improving services.
  • Design and implement backend microservices and contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
  • Write and maintain unit, functional, and performance tests following team guidelines and TDD practices.
  • Deploy services to production and handle incident response, bug fixes and root-cause analyses.
  • Instrument applications to collect performance data, logs and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams using agile frameworks (SCRUM or KANBAN) and follow client-defined policies and processes.
  • Use Git/Git Flow, participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.

Requirements

  • This is an affirmative-action vacancy reserved for women.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Java and Kotlin.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices such as TDD, DDD, Clean Code and Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Experience with agile practices (SCRUM or KANBAN) and strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with SQL databases and HTTP/HTTPS protocols.
  • Experience writing unit, functional and performance tests, and instrumenting applications for metrics and logs.
  • Proficiency with Git and Git Flow.
  • Preferred: experience with Spring Boot and/or Javalin; messaging technologies such as Kafka, SQS and SNS; NoSQL databases; Docker and Kubernetes; streaming and event-driven solutions; Apigee and Node.js; experience with AWS.
  • Candidates living in the Campinas metropolitan region must be available to work from CI&T’s Campinas offices per company attendance policy.
