Description

  • Administer, configure, develop, and maintain Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Atlassian products and the ITSM platform.
  • Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for new functionality, reports, automation, and workflow changes.
  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain business rules, scripts, workflows, and platform enhancements.
  • Configure user interfaces, screen elements, mobile interfaces, plugins, branding, forms, filters, lists, and platform integrations.
  • Manage users, groups, roles, security configurations, update sets, and upgrade-related maintenance activities.
  • Build, test, deploy, and update Service Catalogue items, self-service portal content, alerts, notifications, dashboards, and reports.
  • Identify and support integrations with external systems such as SolarWinds, Splunk, SCOM, and Ariba.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, monitor platform performance, and recommend improvements to platform, processes, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with IT service owners, delivery leads, and support teams to deliver IT solutions and support small project work.

Requirements

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at a company with at least 5,000 employees.
  • 5+ years of experience administering, developing, and supporting Atlassian applications, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
  • Intermediate knowledge of ITIL and IT support processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of ITSM API configuration and operational experience.
  • Experience with EST APIs, JSON, PowerShell or Python, Atlassian Automation rules, webhooks, basic scripting, data migration tools (CSV, APIs), and reporting tools such as JQL and dashboards.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management environments with working knowledge of ITSM applications and modules such as ServiceNow, JSM, Service Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management, and Service Catalog/Service Request Management.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems with documented, testable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Experience participating in requirements workshops and contributing to complex design and development projects.
  • Basic project management experience for small projects.
