Description

  • Work as the design partner within a product trio alongside a product manager and engineers on the Social Media Management solution.
  • Design and deliver consistently brilliant product experiences for a cross-functional team and Cision customers.
  • Collaborate directly with product managers, marketers, data scientists, developers, and other stakeholders to shape product direction.
  • Conduct weekly customer conversations to understand requirements and uncover opportunities.
  • Plan and conduct user research, including generative and evaluative research, and translate findings into design opportunities.
  • Distill complex requirements into modern, accessible, and inviting user experiences.
  • Document and communicate design work clearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a collaborative design team where ideas are shared and decisions have tangible impact.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of aggregated commercial experience as a Product Designer on digital products, web apps, or SaaS.
  • A portfolio presented during the interview that demonstrates craft excellence and your process for translating outcomes into outputs.
  • Experience delivering product experiences within a cross-functional team.
  • Experience planning and conducting user research, including generative and evaluative methods.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into accessible, modern product experiences.
  • Strong visual design skills and a clear understanding of what good design looks like.
  • Experience working with established design systems or pattern libraries.
  • Excellent asynchronous communication skills and flexibility, especially for distributed teams.
  • Passion for data visualization is preferred.
  • Experience designing and testing information dashboards is preferred.
  • Experience designing for mobile contexts is preferred.
  • This is a contractor role, and contractors are expected to submit monthly invoices for services rendered.
