Description

  • Design, implement, and improve reliable, scalable, performant, and secure production platforms and services.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns.
  • Support and mentor engineers across the organization while promoting engineering standards and operational best practices.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to support critical services and maintain platform availability.
  • Drive standardization, automation, and documentation to reduce operational overhead and improve knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute across the full lifecycle of platform and service delivery, from design and build through operation and optimization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or software engineering roles.
  • Strong Kubernetes experience and a solid understanding of containers and container orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Programming skills in at least one object-oriented language, plus scripting and automation capability.
  • Good understanding of security principles and best practices across infrastructure, platforms, and services.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or OCI.
  • Monitoring, alerting, and observability experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.
  • Strong Linux and/or Windows systems administration experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, secure SDLC practices, and static/dynamic security testing.
  • Understanding of SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, toil reduction, availability, and observability.
  • Experience managing Elasticsearch in production is beneficial.
  • Preferred: Kafka, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, Redis, and networking experience.
