Description

  • Secure air, car, and hotel accommodations for contracted government agencies.
  • Ensure booked domestic and international travel complies with government travel regulations.
  • Maintain and monitor queues throughout the day.
  • Process reservation changes and cancellations through completion and notify client agencies promptly.
  • Provide updates to client agencies on travel status and pending arrangements.
  • Research travel industry changes, trends, and offerings to keep advice current.
  • Deliver professional, timely, and accurate customer service for all travel arrangements.
  • Recommend value-added services to client agencies.
  • Work weekend shifts as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with some post-high school education.
  • Travel industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of WorldSpan and SABRE GDS.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Proactive approach to systems and processes.
  • Positive attitude.
  • No prior government travel experience required; training will be provided.
  • One week of in-person orientation at the home office in Virginia Beach, VA is required.
  • Weekend availability is required.
