Description

  • Build and maintain strategic client relationships through regular communication, in-person meetings, travel, and job site visits.
  • Influence product specifications by working with owners, designers, consultants, agents, and manufacturers’ representatives.
  • Develop and manage annual client relationship and financial targets with the VP of Sales.
  • Maintain and grow a sales portfolio by prospecting, managing key accounts, and identifying retention and growth opportunities.
  • Track sales activities, opportunities, quotations, sales orders, and customer data in the CRM.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and review quarterly profitability reports to identify margin and revenue improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit bids, including takeoffs, bills of materials, pricing, and complete proposal packages.
  • Collaborate with Sales Coordinators and Project Management to support job costing, technical specification, system design, and project execution.
  • Participate in kick-off meetings, change order communication, and post-mortem meetings to support project handoff and closeout.
  • Work independently while coordinating regularly with the VP of Sales and other departments as needed.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in entertainment lighting and/or AV system integration sales.
  • Multiple years of experience working in stage lighting or AV systems sales and integration.
  • Strong relationships with consultants, designers, and other industry specifiers.
  • Deep understanding of lighting and AV product pathways to market and project specifications.
  • Proven track record of sales success and deal closing ability.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills.
  • Strategic business sense, negotiation ability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with travel and regular client-facing work in clients’ environments.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and results-driven work style.
  • Preferred: experience working with project management teams and installation partners.
