Description

  • Translate product training and education into sales across a broad surgical technology portfolio.
  • Develop creative sales strategies for existing and prospective accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a complete customer database for the territory.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders through visits, calls, industry events, and ongoing communication.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from presentations and product evaluations through contract negotiations, closing, delivery, installation, and post-sale support.
  • Prepare quotations, letters, tender documents, and responses to technical questions.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of each account, distributor, and market, and execute a consistent customer contact strategy.
  • Leverage existing customer relationships to influence prospective accounts and identify upgrade opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and share account information to support cross-selling opportunities.
  • Conduct sales forecasting, support annual budget planning, and monitor territory expenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Must be comfortable with frequent travel and extensive time in the field.
  • Documented success as a top-performing sales representative.
  • Medical device and/or capital equipment sales experience within the neurosurgery market.
  • Experience selling into surgical technology or related healthcare markets is preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
  • Strong experience managing full-cycle sales processes from prospecting to post-sale support.
  • Ability to develop and execute a 12-month territory sales strategy.
  • Continuous self-training to maintain high product and industry knowledge.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $85,000.
  • Eligibility for commissions.
  • Eligibility for bonuses.
  • Expected total on-target earnings of approximately $180,000–$200,000.
