Description

  • Proactively arrange in-person meetings and site visits with clients across Canada.
  • Build and expand an industry network by leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones.
  • Maintain regular client contact through scheduled check-ins and show-floor presence.
  • Set and pursue annual financial and relationship development targets with the VP of Rentals.
  • Identify and develop new and existing client opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Influence equipment specifications so Christie Lites products are requested at bid time.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and pursue opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Review, cull, or reassign clients within the portfolio to support long-term results.
  • Deliver accurate rental data to Project Managers for quotes, reservations, and orders.
  • Follow up before, during, and after jobs to ensure quality execution.
  • Review show reports to maintain high delivery standards.
  • Support Accounting with timely invoicing and collections.
  • Adhere to Christie Lites’ OCOR client management policy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B relationship-based sales.
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles and high-value accounts.
  • Strong organizational skills and financial attention to detail.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly for in-person client meetings.
  • Existing network in the Canadian live events industry is preferred.
  • Direct experience with stage lighting equipment or production technology is preferred.
  • Existing relationships with Canadian touring productions, festivals, or corporate event producers are preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical quoting or rental contract processes is preferred.
  • A decisive, results-driven, and competitive approach is required.
  • Ability to build trust and work effectively in emotionally complex live event environments.
  • Self-directed and able to thrive without micromanagement.
