Description

  • Manage contract requests through Ramp and IronClad, including intake, repository maintenance, stakeholder training, and tracking key dates and renewals.
  • Research legal issues such as data privacy and marketplace facilitator regulations and summarize findings for attorney review.
  • Manage and update contract templates and conduct first-level review of modification requests.
  • Review and process internal and external NDAs for attorney sign-off.
  • Track SOPs, licenses, permits, and related compliance deadlines, and escalate non-compliant practices to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee legal inquiries via Slack and email and escalate issues to an attorney when needed.
  • Assist with policy research and creation, meeting coordination, agenda support, and monthly privacy requests.
  • Own legal documentation, tools, and processes as the role progresses and contribute to legal process improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal or in an equivalent role, either in private practice or in-house.
  • Experience with legal tech tools such as CLM and procurement systems; experience with IronClad and Ramp is a plus.
  • Knowledge of legal principles and processes.
  • Experience with legal and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong drafting and reviewing skills, including licenses and NDAs.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with an empathetic approach.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver consistent, high-quality work on time.
  • Data-driven approach to process improvement.
  • Dynamic, curious, organized, adaptable, and comfortable with experimentation and continuous improvement.
