Description

  • Review invoices, expense reports, and credit card expenses for accurate coding to the general ledger.
  • Investigate and respond to internal and vendor inquiries related to expense transactions.
  • Coach employees on how to use the expenditure system and process.
  • Assist with system administrator tasks for the expense management tool.
  • Support compliance activities including the annual audit and the 990 tax return.
  • Participate in month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
  • Help create new accounting and administrative processes as the organization grows, leveraging AI where appropriate.
  • Manage state nonprofit registration filings.
  • Handle additional administrative responsibilities and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • Proficient Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, timely, professional work.
  • Demonstrated experience learning and using financial and administrative systems or technologies.
  • 2 years of office work or customer service experience preferred.
  • Formal Excel training preferred.
  • Experience with expense management platforms such as Concur and/or ERP software such as NetSuite preferred.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Remote work is limited to U.S.-based candidates.

  • Hourly pay of $26.44 - $28.37, annualized to $55,000 - $59,000.
