Description

  • Own the ITGC SOX program as part of the second line of defense.
  • Enhance tools and automate processes to streamline compliance efforts across multiple frameworks.
  • Introduce innovative GRC capabilities that align risk strategies with business priorities.
  • Improve internal processes, policies, and programs by incorporating AI or other automation.
  • Support access management, change management, and operational systems and procedures for current and future IT systems.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, internal auditors, and external auditors.
  • Partner with control owners and operators to validate the completeness and accuracy of ITGC control execution.
  • Ensure ITGC controls are designed, documented, audit-ready, and effectively monitored.
  • Oversee IT SOX compliance activities including planning, scoping, walkthroughs, and control evidence collection.
  • Build reporting to track compliance, risk management, and security project status for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of audit and project management experience leading ITGC SOX, SOC 1/2/3, or IT internal audit programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley, COBIT, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, and cross-framework commonalities.
  • Experience with internal and external auditors.
  • Experience with SaaS applications such as NetSuite, Workday, Salesforce, and GitHub from an IT controls perspective.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to understand in-house developed systems and CI/CD development processes.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a risk-based approach to compliance, operational technology risks, and governance processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
