Description

  • Own a major domain within the clearing house, such as customer onboarding workflows, entitlement management, or data validation pipelines.
  • Drive the architecture and implementation of backend systems in Go on GCP.
  • Build production-ready systems that are tested, observable, and maintainable.
  • Lead the design of data pipelines that ingest unstructured vulnerability reports, deduplicate findings, and produce structured outputs.
  • Establish engineering best practices, including code review standards, testing practices, and incident response processes.
  • Partner with the principal engineer and manager on technical planning, architecture alignment, and roadmap sequencing.
  • Collaborate with the libraries team on interface contracts and data quality requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of backend engineering experience with a track record of owning large, complex production systems.
  • Strong Go engineering skills.
  • Experience with GCP and Terraform.
  • Experience building systems that process and validate data from heterogeneous, unstructured sources.
  • Analytical, research-based mindset for solving data and validation problems.
  • Experience taking a business problem from prototype or MVP to a reliable, scalable production service.
  • Experience designing systems with multiple customer entitlement levels, access controls, and workflow routing.
  • Comfort with observability tooling and production health monitoring.
  • Background in security, supply chain, or infrastructure domains is a plus but not required.
  • Remote location: US, Canada, or UK.
