Description

  • Triage, investigate, manage, and resolve complex customer issues involving Chainguard Images.
  • Escalate technical issues to Engineering when deeper investigation or code changes are needed.
  • Communicate status, updates, and resolutions clearly to customers while meeting SLA expectations.
  • Translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Create detailed issue write-ups and Knowledge Base articles for recurring or new problems.
  • Prioritize and manage a personal support queue to drive cases to resolution.
  • Surface bugs, feature requests, and product issues to Engineering and GTM teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Customer Success, and other teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation covering after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working across Engineering, Customer Success, or other cross-functional teams.
  • Comfort with DevOps tools and workflows including CI/CD, GitHub, Helm charts, Terraform, Linux, and open source technologies.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • AWS EKS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with security frameworks, software supply chain security, or vulnerability scanning is preferred.
  • CKA, CKAD, CKS, or KCSA certifications are preferred.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
