Description

  • Triage, investigate, manage, and resolve complex customer issues involving Chainguard Images.
  • Escalate technical issues to Engineering when deeper investigation or code changes are needed.
  • Communicate status, updates, and resolutions clearly to customers while meeting SLAs.
  • Explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Write detailed issue reports and contribute Knowledge Base documentation.
  • Prioritize and manage a personal support queue with proactive follow-through to resolution.
  • Raise bugs, feature requests, and product issues to Engineering and GTM teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise customers.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Customer Success, and related teams.
  • Comfort with DevOps tooling and workflows, including CI/CD, GitHub, Helm charts, Terraform, Linux, and open source technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS EKS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with security frameworks, software supply chain security, or vulnerability scanning is a plus.
  • CKA, CKAD, CKS, or KCSA certifications are a plus.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
