Description

  • Build and maintain core clearing house components in Go on GCP, including customer onboarding flows, entitlement logic, and data ingestion pipelines.
  • Own ambiguous problems and subsystems from design through production, with testing and observability.
  • Collaborate with staff and principal engineers to implement scalable architectural patterns.
  • Develop backend systems that transform unstructured enterprise customer inputs into structured, validated outputs.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation and support incident response and postmortems.
  • Become a go-to engineer for one or more core subsystems and lead multi-engineer efforts over multi-month initiatives.
  • Review code, provide direct feedback, and help raise the team’s engineering bar.
  • Contribute infrastructure-as-code and operational tooling using Terraform and GCP-native tooling.

Requirements

  • Strong backend engineering foundation with experience shipping and maintaining production systems.
  • Strong Go engineering skills.
  • Experience with GCP and Terraform.
  • Ability to handle unstructured data problems such as parsing, validating, and deduplicating in a methodical, analytical way.
  • Experience working in an environment that values operational excellence, including monitoring, alerting, and graceful degradation.
  • Ability to scope and drive features independently with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with customer-facing APIs or workflow systems is a plus.
  • Security or infrastructure domain knowledge.
  • Experience in a team setting and ability to collaborate with senior technical stakeholders.
