Description

  • Develop analysis tools to facilitate security discovery and design mitigation techniques to deter security threats.
  • Perform vulnerability discovery and develop proof-of-concept (PoC) exploits against large distributed system implementations.
  • Review and analyze system implementations of sandboxes, virtual machines (VMs), network modules, and other critical distributed system components.
  • Conduct research in malware analysis, vulnerability detection, network anomaly detection, mobile app analysis, reverse engineering, and fraud detection.
  • Collaborate with the research team to define, prioritize, and execute multiple research tasks and experiments.
  • Publish research findings in academic and industry venues.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a cybersecurity-related field.
  • Experience in vulnerability discovery and exploitation on web applications or system software.
  • Familiarity with sandboxing, VM internals, network modules, and distributed system implementations.
  • Experience with WASM, Rust, or Go development (preferred).
  • CTF (capture-the-flag) or similar hands-on security competition experience (preferred).
  • Experience or interest in malware analysis, reverse engineering, mobile app analysis, or network anomaly detection.
  • Ability or interest in preparing publishable research (academic or industry venues) (preferred).
  • Willingness and ability to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
