Description

  • Own endpoint security across the workforce, including CrowdStrike deployment, policy management, disk encryption, patch compliance, workstation baselines, USB and browser controls.
  • Enforce endpoint security posture through drift detection, ongoing configuration maintenance, and response to environment changes.
  • Manage access and identity operations, including provisioning for new hires, revocation for departures, access reviews, Okta configuration hygiene, and admin account controls.
  • Serve as the first line for security-related employee requests, endpoint alerts, investigation support, and escalation as needed.
  • Own endpoint procurement, ordering, destruction, and re-provisioning to support low-touch and no-touch device trust workflows.
  • Manage security-related onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end, including provisioning, configuration, deprovisioning, and verification.
  • Ensure endpoint and access controls remain aligned with corporate security policies and compliance requirements such as SOC 2 and PCI.
  • Maintain evidence that required security controls are in place and operating effectively.
  • Track software license inventory, renewals, and usage to maintain vendor compliance.
  • Maintain visibility into AI tools in use, assess data handling practices, and flag risk to security leadership.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT security, systems administration, or a hybrid security operations role.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools such as CrowdStrike, JumpCloud, Jamf, or similar.
  • Familiarity with identity platforms such as JumpCloud, Google Workspace, or equivalent.
  • Comfort working across both Mac and Windows environments.
  • Strong operational instincts with the ability to close loops, follow up, and notice issues.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain security issues to non-technical employees.
  • Scripting or automation experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash is a plus.
  • Experience supporting access reviews, endpoint compliance, or security operations workflows is preferred.
  • Experience working in environments with low-touch or zero-touch device trust is beneficial.
