Description

  • Lead small- to mid-scale, multi-discipline projects from programming through closeout.
  • Deliver coordinated discipline designs, including layouts, calculations, specifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Lead technical design reviews and identify coordination risks, scope gaps, and project issues early.
  • Partner with Project Leads and Group Leads to confirm scope, sequencing, coordination strategy, and client requirements.
  • Review the work of Designers and engineers and provide markups, guidance, and feedback to improve quality and documentation.
  • Maintain disciplined documentation of decisions, assumptions, client-specific nuances, and project progress in GitHub and project tools.
  • Contribute to TEECOM standards, workflows, and tools through Pull Requests, lessons learned, and process improvements.
  • Mentor Designers, Associates, and engineers through hands-on coaching and structured feedback.
  • Support pursuits by contributing scope input, fee assumptions, technical narratives, and interview participation.
  • Participate in client and project meetings, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and support client relationship development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in AEC or related professional services.
  • Demonstrated discipline-specific experience in ICT, Security, Physical Security, or Electronic Security.
  • Preferred experience leading discipline portions of mid- to large-size projects and guiding Designers or engineers.
  • Strong ability to deliver accurate, well-coordinated designs and make sound engineering decisions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery workflows, client expectations, documentation standards, and cross-discipline coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to documentation updates, standards refinement, or QA/QC workflows through GitHub Pull Requests or similar tools.
  • Strong proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam Studio, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
  • Industry certifications preferred: PSP/CPP, CDT, EIT, PE, and PMP.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
