Description

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers' compensation claims on behalf of clients.
  • Take statements, pay lost wage benefits, file state forms, deny claims, and handle subrogation and litigation activities.
  • Communicate with CEOs, claimants, provider offices, and attorneys throughout the claims process.
  • Manage claims across multiple jurisdictions and apply appropriate state-specific procedures.
  • Review claims details and maintain accurate documentation and case files.
  • Work independently while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support claims handling in a fast-paced, home-based environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a workers' compensation claims adjuster.
  • Experience handling workers' compensation claims in Northeast states.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management software.
  • Previous workers' compensation adjusting experience is required.
  • Experience handling claims in multiple jurisdictions is vital for success in this role.
