Description

  • Handle general liability claims with a focus on construction defect matters.
  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex liability claims.
  • Apply state-specific claims handling regulations and licensing requirements as needed.
  • Communicate and negotiate effectively with relevant parties throughout the claims process.
  • Work independently while collaborating with team members when needed.
  • Maintain strong organization and time management across multiple claims.
  • Use Microsoft Office and claims management systems to support claims handling.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience handling general liability claims, ideally construction defect claims.
  • Familiarity with state-specific claims handling regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Proven ability to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex liability claims.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
  • Experience staying in claims and deepening general liability expertise is preferred.
  • Background in construction defect claims is preferred.
