Description

  • Guide customers and internal teams through Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Translate customer requirements into a workable backlog of engineering tickets.
  • Delegate and coordinate work across a team of engineers to complete customer projects.
  • Lead requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.
  • Apply DevOps pipeline practices including CI/CD, branching strategies, infrastructure as code, security, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Automate software testing across multiple levels and monitor test results.
  • Write production-quality code, including unit and integration tests.
  • Design, deliver, and document cloud native solutions on AWS.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced teammates while collaborating with peers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in software development and cloud-native systems.
  • Strong background in established engineering practices and scalable architectures.
  • Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or MVC .Net.
  • Proficiency in server-side scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Deep knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience integrating APIs across applications, vendors, and cloud environments.
  • Understanding of modern application architectures including event-based systems, queues, and microservices.
  • Development experience on a major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience configuring AWS resources.
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies and a desire to integrate innovative technologies into the development workflow.
  • Ability to lead a workstream, support others, and contribute individually.
  • BS in a computing-related field, or commensurate experience, preferred.
  • Experience with testing and automation, preferred.
  • Experience with UI/UX, preferred.
  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI, preferred.
  • Experience with app dev acceleration tools such as Amazon Q Developer, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.AI, preferred.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as SAM, CloudFormation, or Terraform, preferred.
  • This role may require up to 25% travel depending on business needs.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
