Description

  • Build AI-native self-service experiences using Amazon Connect AI agents, Amazon Q in Connect, and Amazon Bedrock with Claude.
  • Develop contact flows, Lambda business logic, Cases and Tasks solutions, routing, Contact Lens, analytics, and workforce-management integrations.
  • Build React-based agent workspaces, portals, CRM integrations, and accessible WCAG 2.1 AA-compliant components.
  • Develop event-driven serverless systems using Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
  • Author AWS CDK infrastructure, maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and implement automated unit, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
  • Instrument monitoring and alerting, diagnose production issues, and participate in incident triage and phased contact-center cutovers.
  • Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams through pairing, technical workshops, demonstrations, and knowledge transfer.
  • Review code, mentor engineers, document architecture decisions, contribute reusable practice assets, and support proof-of-concept and pre-sales work.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including 2+ years with Amazon Connect or comparable enterprise CCaaS platforms.
  • Strong Amazon Connect experience with contact flows, routing, Cases and Tasks, Contact Lens, Customer Profiles, Streams API, and analytics.
  • Experience with Amazon Lex and generative AI development using Amazon Bedrock, Q in Connect, or equivalent, including prompt engineering and tool calling.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js and Python skills, production React experience, and AWS serverless engineering expertise.
  • Proficiency with AWS CDK or Terraform, including multi-account deployment patterns.
  • Experience shipping and supporting production systems with automated testing, observability, and full-stack incident debugging.
  • Clear customer-facing communication skills, including demonstrating work, explaining trade-offs, and leading technical working sessions.
  • AWS certification in Solutions Architecture, Development, Machine Learning, or Connect-related specialties (preferred).
  • Experience with contact-center migrations, regulated industries, contact-center operations, AI observability, accessibility engineering, or consulting delivery (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work without current or future visa sponsorship.
