Description

  • Coordinate the collection and cataloging of absentee and early voting data from Secretaries of State, County Boards of Elections, and other sources.
  • Research and monitor changes to election administration that may affect absentee and early voting.
  • Document research and operational work clearly and thoroughly.
  • Plan, manage, and execute special projects assigned by the Director of Data Acquisition.
  • Assist with or lead cross-departmental projects as needed.
  • Support the Data team’s broader underlying work at Catalist.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and make productive suggestions.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask.
  • Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to make productive process-improvement suggestions.
  • Willingness to be creative, personable, and collaborative with internal teams.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle numerous assignments at once.
  • Experience using Google Docs, especially Google Sheets, or other project management tools.
  • Background check required.
  • Experience with political campaigns or progressive organizations is preferred.
