Description

  • Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including creation, modification, monitoring, issue resolution, and stakeholder support.
  • Review purchase requisitions and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Maintain procurement records, supplier information, and documentation in procurement and ERP systems.
  • Review purchasing activity and address non-compliant transactions.
  • Support supplier onboarding, documentation collection, and vendor record maintenance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, Finance, Accounts Payable, and business stakeholders.
  • Support procurement audits by gathering approvals and required documentation.
  • Maintain procurement procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Identify improvements to procurement workflows, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, accounts payable, supply chain, finance operations, or related functions.
  • Experience with purchase orders, supplier onboarding, procurement compliance, invoice resolution, and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is preferred.
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Simfoni, Prokuria, iValua, or similar systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement controls, documentation, supplier records, and compliance processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, follow approval workflows, and support continuous improvement.
