Description

  • Develop and maintain data structures, flows, content definitions, metadata, and enterprise master data integrations.
  • Select, deploy, and manage systems and infrastructure for data processing pipelines.
  • Design the architecture of data and analytics platforms supporting analytics, data science, and machine learning.
  • Develop data governance policies, business definitions, metadata standards, and enterprise reporting metrics.
  • Build complex SQL queries and perform data profiling, validation, cleansing, deduplication, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with IT and business partners to identify data sources and align domains with authoritative sources.
  • Recommend and implement data engineering patterns, best practices, and quality processes.
  • Evaluate architectural approaches and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Research relevant technologies and maintain current knowledge of data governance, master data, and data quality.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to create, optimize, debug, and validate production-ready SQL and Python scripts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of information technology experience.
  • At least 3 years of data architecture experience.
  • At least 3 years of programming experience in Java, C++, or C#.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and related technologies.
  • Practical experience participating in and managing data management programs.
  • Experience with enterprise data management technologies, including data warehouses, ETL tools, SQL, and master data management solutions.
  • Preferred experience with JavaJet2.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Azure BI and Analytics Stack, including Azure SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
