Description

  • Support CBM+ initiatives from inception through deployment while aligning work with mission and business objectives.
  • Oversee, implement, sustain, and optimize end-to-end data collection and ETL pipelines.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, and data visualization to identify actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain knowledge graph capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate trained models into production applications and APIs.
  • Monitor data quality and model performance to identify and mitigate drift and degradation.
  • Support decision-making tools and program-wide products for USAF stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience; a STEM master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of applied NLP experience, including data labeling and entity or keyword extraction.
  • Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, data governance frameworks, and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of statistical distributions, predictive modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, and confidence intervals.
  • Experience applying AI/ML to predictive maintenance or defense logistics is preferred.
  • Experience developing sensor-based failure prediction models and equipment health indicators is preferred.
  • Experience engineering end-to-end data pipelines and integrating customer-facing UI/UX is preferred.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Microsoft Office, Qlik Sense, Streamlit, or other visualization and dashboard tools.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, self-direction, stakeholder engagement, and ability to travel minimally as needed.
