Description

  • Run the local Carvana hub, including market launch, operations, logistics, consumer branding, team engagement, and ongoing market success.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Customer Advocates through feedback, performance check-ins, goal setting, onboarding, and training.
  • Create a positive team environment that builds morale, spirit, and strong engagement across the market.
  • Provide tools, resources, guidance, and development opportunities to help team members succeed.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing programs and creative recognition methods.
  • Generate, monitor, and present regular reports and performance updates to upper management.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for the team and step in to support car washing and vehicle delivery when needed.
  • Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment while managing operational details effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and the Advocate team experience.
  • Address complex and sensitive customer-facing issues and proactively resolve business roadblocks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing team environment.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
  • Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, and guiding teams to exceed goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve problems of varying complexity while maintaining focus on customer experience.
  • Willingness to work on weekends.
  • Enthusiasm and energy to thrive in a rapidly growing startup environment where roles evolve as the company changes.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Tableau preferred.
  • An analytical mindset preferred.
  • Experience handling logistics preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for 8+ hours.
  • Ability to perform frequent reaching, twisting, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and squatting.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent driving with strong visual activity and manual dexterity required.
  • Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain in stationary positions for up to 3 hours at a time while driving.
  • Must be able to communicate accurately with customers.
  • Employees in CA, CO, KY, LA, MD, NV, OK, TN, UT, VA, and WI must apply for a Salesperson license within the first two weeks of employment.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
