Description

  • Conduct outbound outreach to prospective patients using a structured referral queue.
  • Introduce the program in plain, accessible language and explain its benefits clearly.
  • Build rapport with older adults and handle questions, skepticism, and objections with warmth and confidence.
  • Obtain required verbal consents in the correct sequence and ensure enrollment does not proceed without compliance gates being met.
  • Collect patient information accurately during live calls and document it in real time across multiple systems.
  • Complete and document clinical intake questionnaires for patients who choose to enroll.
  • Schedule initiating clinical appointments after successful enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of call outcomes, patient details, and enrollment status.
  • Respond constructively to QA reviews, call coaching, and performance feedback to improve call quality.
  • Help shape evolving program processes by providing feedback and adapting as the program grows.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Alberta, Canada and authorized to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
  • Must be available Saturday through Wednesday, 9am–6pm EST.
  • 1+ years of patient-facing healthcare experience, such as medical clinic front office, patient registration, care coordination, enrollment, or telehealth outreach.
  • Proven outbound sales, conversion, or telephonic outreach experience.
  • Track record of objection handling and closing in a high-volume call environment.
  • Ability to sustain energy, warmth, and professionalism across a full day of back-to-back calls.
  • Comfortable engaging with older adults, including those who are skeptical or difficult to reach.
  • Able to navigate multiple systems simultaneously during a live call; multi-screen proficiency required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with Medicare-enrolled or older adult populations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EHR, referral management, or care coordination platforms is preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish or other languages depending on the target population is preferred.
