Description

  • Coordinate, compile, and analyze financial and cost information for the company and supporting grants/contracts.
  • Act as a fiscal partner to Executive Directors supporting workforce development programs.
  • Establish procedures and policies for effective financial reporting and compliance with Federal WIOA, state, local, and corporate policies.
  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and working capital requirements.
  • Monitor government contracts and private restricted funding to ensure full financial utilization.
  • Process employee expenses, vendor invoices, and program payroll analytics.
  • Perform month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Compile supporting documentation for monthly contract invoices.
  • Support annual audit deliverables and respond to periodic program audit requests.
  • Oversee the software client invoice process to ensure timely invoicing and fulfillment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience handling U.S. government contracts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to reconcile balance sheets and profit/loss reports.
  • Experience implementing fiscal management policies and procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Experience working with executive leadership, upper management, and third-party funding sources.
  • Ability to work independently, meet month-end deadlines, and function in a virtual team environment.
  • Ability to handle high-volume work with speed and accuracy under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Background check required, including criminal, employment, and education verification.
