Description

  • Oversee the full accounting function across all international entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial records.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate day-to-day accounting activities including invoicing, banking, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accounting policies and reporting practices align with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
  • Coordinate with local accounting teams and external advisors on closing activities, tax calculations, audits, and regulatory filings.
  • Verify the accuracy of quarterly and annual financial statements across the group.
  • Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing coordination.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Identify financial risks, improve internal controls, and recommend data-driven actions to support decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team across multiple locations while building a scalable finance function.

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a Chief Accountant or Head of Accounting role.
  • Proven experience managing accounting across multiple international jurisdictions, with EU and US experience preferred.
  • Full-cycle hands-on accounting experience, including bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, closings, and financial statements.
  • Direct involvement in audit processes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading an accounting team.
  • Fluency in English at C1 level or above is mandatory.
  • Fluency in Russian at B2 level or above is a strong advantage.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, including reconciliation between the two, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Holded, or Xero is a strong advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Experience with payment platforms such as AMEX, VivaWallet, or Checkout.
