Description

  • Own project governance across the full implementation portfolio, from enterprise accounts to scale-motion accounts.
  • Build and run a risk visibility system with dashboards, thresholds, and escalation triggers.
  • Define milestone gates for engagements at different delivery scales and hold teams accountable to them.
  • Hire, develop, and manage project managers and project coordinators.
  • Build a defined career path for the project management organization.
  • Own project management standards, including best practices, change management, and workflow documentation.
  • Design and build a project coordinator model to support high-volume delivery.
  • Partner with Architecture leadership to clarify system design ownership versus project accountability.
  • Diagnose and close gaps in ownership for complex projects.
  • Run recurring delivery forums and report delivery health, risk, and escalation trends to leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in project or program management for software implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience building or leading a project management team.
  • Direct experience implementing enterprise SaaS within an internal delivery team or partner organization.
  • Experience designing delivery models that work across multiple scales, including high-touch and higher-volume delivery.
  • Demonstrated success building a project management function or operating system from the ground up or in an under-resourced environment.
  • Comfort managing project outcomes without owning the technical solution.
  • Experience with incentive compensation management (ICM) or another complex, configuration-heavy enterprise software category is preferred.
  • Experience designing or scaling a project coordinator or delivery-operations model for a high-volume customer segment is preferred.
