Description

  • Define and implement vehicle test strategies aligned with ISO 26262, ISO 21448, and other relevant safety standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop test engineers responsible for vehicle-level test cases and reporting.
  • Partner with systems engineering, software development, and test operations to establish verification and validation priorities.
  • Ensure vehicle requirements are verifiable and drive scenario-based testing across the operational design domain.
  • Improve vehicle test platforms, equipment, analysis tools, and software toolchains.
  • Manage testing budgets, schedules, and resource allocation across concurrent vehicle programs.
  • Use upstream test results to prioritize testing and address technical risks.
  • Communicate test status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Represent vehicle testing in program reviews, safety-case reviews, and regulatory or customer audits.
  • Coordinate software tool qualification and monitor emerging autonomous-driving verification and validation technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.
  • Experience managing vehicle-level testing for safety-critical products.
  • Leadership experience building and developing technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or equivalent quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Experience with scenario-based verification and validation for autonomous systems.
  • Experience with certification testing such as EuroNCAP.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills.
  • Experience processing vehicle data from ground-truth equipment, such as high-precision GNSS/INS and LiDAR reference systems, for ADAS or autonomous-vehicle testing.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Interest in applying emerging verification and validation approaches.
