Description

  • Drive Capricor’s U.S. distribution channel strategy, including 3PL selection, specialty distributor network design, trade agreements, and product flow to the dispensing channel.
  • Build and operate the U.S. patient services model, including referral intake, benefits investigation, prior authorization, and case management.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to select, onboard, and manage 3PL, hub, specialty distributor, and specialty pharmacy partners.
  • Map, standardize, and improve patient journeys to reduce access friction and support timely therapy initiation.
  • Develop SOPs and training materials for patient- and provider-facing interactions in alignment with regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
  • Run financial assistance and affordability programs, including copay, patient assistance, and bridge or quick-start programs.
  • Support site onboarding and certification for institutionally administered or infused therapies.
  • Collaborate with Market Access, Commercial Operations, and IT to align workflows, reporting, data capture, and system integration.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and launch-readiness measurement frameworks to track program performance and operational effectiveness.
  • Manage vendor relationships, budgets, RFPs, and contracting in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
  • Build and scale a small team over time and advise Commercial leadership on team growth.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and scenario evaluations for Commercial leadership and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or clinical background such as RN or PharmD preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical channel strategy, 3PL and specialty distribution, patient services, hub operations, or specialty pharmacy oversight.
  • Experience building or scaling patient support programs for rare disease or specialty therapies.
  • Experience supporting product launches, ideally in rare diseases or complex infused therapies.
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution models, benefits verification, prior authorization workflows, case management, and financial assistance programs.
  • Strong operational discipline, empathy, and vendor partnership experience.
  • Ability to explain complex channel and patient services topics clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment.
  • Experience contributing to a commercial launch and building channel and patient services capabilities from scratch at a pre-commercial or early-commercial company.
  • Occasional domestic travel of approximately 10% to 15% is required.
