Description

  • Lead evaluations of emerging AI/ML technologies through prototypes, proof of concepts, and experimentation.
  • Analyze and communicate technology benefits, tradeoffs, and implementation risks to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI/ML applications in AWS cloud environments.
  • Build, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for production use cases.
  • Support AI/ML development across engineering, operations, and security in cloud-native environments.
  • Drive adoption of modern AI technologies and engineering best practices across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with federal clients and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
  • Mentor engineers and support the growth of junior team members.
  • Present experiment results, technical findings, and architectural recommendations to leadership and federal customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 7–10 years of professional software engineering or cloud engineering experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS.
  • At least 2 years of experience deploying production AI/ML applications in enterprise environments.
  • Strong Python proficiency and experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with AI/ML platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Hugging Face, or Weights & Biases.
  • Experience with data analysis using pandas and experiment visualization using matplotlib.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams, preferably in federal, regulated, or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, MLOps, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or DevSecOps practices (preferred).
