Description

  • Identify, investigate, and triage technical issues within the JUDI technology stack and perform root cause analysis using logs, database queries, and monitoring data.
  • Monitor system logs and metrics to validate application behavior, identify performance bottlenecks, and detect anomalies.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize key system metrics and support ongoing monitoring.
  • Use SQL to query and analyze data in the JUDI database to investigate discrepancies, identify trends, and support troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on the support and monitoring of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
  • Work with Product Managers and engineers to translate business requirements into test requirements and test plans.
  • Conduct QA activities including ticket review, ticket refinement, manual and exploratory testing, and bug identification.
  • Partner with the scrum team to manage backlogs, refine tickets, and support roadmap development.
  • Support UAT testing, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and report noncompliance as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA Analyst, Software Engineer, Business Analyst, or related role.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Strong SQL experience; familiarity with SQLAlchemy is preferred.
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows.
  • Experience with GitHub or similar source control repositories.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and QA principles.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is preferred.
  • Knowledge of API testing methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts is preferred.
  • Experience in the PBM space is preferred.
  • Remote for non-local candidates or hybrid for candidates local to the NYC area.

  • Salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 USD.
