Description

  • Design, develop, and productionize machine learning solutions for document understanding, search and Q&A, GenAI, and virtual agents.
  • Develop and maintain Python backend services for AI-driven applications.
  • Design and implement APIs for integration with AI models and services.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders as a machine learning specialist and subject matter expert.
  • Own the full ML lifecycle, including problem definition, data exploration, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AI models, integrations, deployments, and backend services.
  • Implement system telemetry, A/B testing, and statistical validation methods to assess model effectiveness.
  • Develop automated testing and validation processes to ensure ML solution integrity and robustness.
  • Document development processes, system designs, and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure healthcare data security and HIPAA compliance.
  • Adhere to the Capital Rx Code of Conduct and report noncompliance as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • 6+ years of industry experience with a strong focus on ML solution development and production deployment.
  • Strong grasp of OOP, design patterns, efficient algorithms, and quality software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Experience with statistical machine learning and AI in NLP, speech, RAG, virtual agents, or document processing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with GenAI services such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemma.
  • Experience developing and fine-tuning prompts for GenAI services.
  • Experience working with microservices or API-based application architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong logical thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Good written communication skills for remote collaboration.
