Description

  • Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that track customer and vendor behavior and surface churn risk or growth opportunities.
  • Develop data-driven forecasts for interchange revenue and operational savings for quarterly business reviews.
  • Take ownership of unclean payment data, investigate processes, and make data analysis-ready before building reports.
  • Analyze payment processing costs across VCC interchange, ACH, and check workflows to identify hidden margin opportunities.
  • Prepare executive-level reporting and business narratives for the C-suite and department leaders.
  • Act as an internal consultant to recommend high-value resource allocation and payment optimization strategies.
  • Perform rigorous self-audits and reconciliations to ensure reported figures are accurate and defensible.
  • Support the Finance Manager and VP of Payments with strategic analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence or Financial Analyst role.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins and CTEs.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerBI.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
  • Python experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience presenting complex data insights directly to C-level executives or department leads.
  • Previous experience in the U.S. payments industry, including Interchange, ACH, or VCC, is a significant advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong audit mindset.
  • Ability to work with unclean, non-analysis-ready data and investigate discrepancies thoroughly.
