Description

  • Serve as a servant leader for multiple teams and their stakeholders.
  • Support the Product Owner in managing and sequencing the backlog.
  • Lead moderately complex teams with external dependencies and system integration points.
  • Remove impediments and resolve issues, with support from the Release Train Engineer when needed.
  • Manage team dependencies and coordinate with other resources to keep work moving forward.
  • Build a high-performing team and promote continuous improvement in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
  • Facilitate and manage agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, sprint retrospectives, and Program Increment planning preparation.
  • Apply SAFe principles to team facilitation, enablement, coaching, and identification of anti-patterns.
  • Coach teams on problem-solving, communication, self-management, and self-organization.
  • Mentor junior Scrum Masters and help lead Communities of Practice and agile sync sessions.

Requirements

  • Background in leading technical teams or working closely with developers and IT project managers.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams and stakeholders in an agile environment.
  • Ability to manage backlogs, dependencies, impediments, and cross-team coordination.
  • Working knowledge of SAFe principles and agile coaching practices.
  • Intermediate coaching skills to influence teams and support soft skills and Lean-Agile mindset development.
  • Ability to facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies and prepare teams for Program Increment planning.
  • Experience mentoring junior Scrum Masters and contributing to a Community of Practice.
  • Beginner to intermediate experience with Behavior Driven Development and Test-Driven Development.
  • Ability to work with occasional support from a Release Train Engineer on risks, conflicts, and difficult issues.
  • Continuous learning mindset and interest in ongoing Agile development (preferred).
