Description

Review and validate detailed technical designs for business applications to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Validate supplier estimates and provide rough order-of-magnitude estimates for new application functionality.
Perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
Act as a liaison between business and IT teams as assigned.
Support users in building business cases, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and high-level planning.
Support implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues, and provide training as needed.
Perform impact analysis of application changes across multiple components with an end-to-end system view.
Specify and recommend integration and parallel testing criteria.
Own the conceptual design of business applications.
Mentor lower-level colleagues and respond to application problem tickets as necessary.

Requirements

Understanding of customer processes and products and how they align with business unit goals.
Experience reviewing and validating technical designs for business applications.
Ability to validate supplier estimates and estimate level of effort and cost for new functionality.
Experience supporting business case development, including cost-benefit analysis, risk assessment, and project scoping.
Ability to support implementation, troubleshoot system/environment issues, and provide training.
Experience performing impact analysis across application components with an end-to-end system perspective.
Ability to define integration and parallel testing criteria.
Experience with conceptual design of business applications.
Ability to mentor junior colleagues.
Experience working with architectural solutions, frameworks, middleware, or similar application architecture concepts (preferred).
