Description

  • Ensure a positive onboarding experience for IT end users by coordinating hardware, application access, identification, and network setup.
  • Order equipment, software, IDs, and entitlements needed for onboarding resources.
  • Serve as a point of contact for IT new hires and their leadership team, providing guidance and required resources.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to anticipate onboarding needs and secure proper system access for new hires, rehires, and contingent workers.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and suppliers to support new hires and handle post-onboarding needs.
  • Respond to employee and contractor inquiries and resolve issues such as lost access and licensing restrictions.
  • Assess systems regularly and recommend process changes and enhancements to improve efficiency.
  • Act as a first responder for system issues and application or tool gaps, escalating issues for further handling when needed.
  • Collaborate with peer partners to ensure governance, standardization, and change management controls are in place.
  • Use Quickbase to maintain data, generate work, create reports, and identify issues.
  • Collaborate with Finance to validate information for accurate supplier billing related to licensing and contractors.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge and skills in IT onboarding or system setup support.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor focused on end-user customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to identify onboarding issues and recommend process improvements based on customer experience.
  • Experience coordinating access for new hires, rehires, and contingent workers.
  • Ability to work with talent acquisition, hiring managers, suppliers, and Finance across teams.
  • Familiarity with Quickbase or a similar application for maintaining data and generating reports.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments, including change requests, migrations, and software updates.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to support governance, standardization, and change management controls.
  • Experience handling post-onboarding support issues, including access and licensing problems.
  • Preferred: experience supporting IT teams and technical access requests in a fast-paced environment.
